SDG INVESTMENT FORUM ASEAN
SDG Investment Forum ASEAN in Malaysia
The COVID-19 global health and economic crisis have strengthened the case for responsible investment. According to the International Monetary Fund, to ensure a strong economic recovery from the pandemic, more than $20 trillion of investment is needed over the next two decades to reduce the impact of climate change and in progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Responsible investments and management of ESG risks are expected to play an even more important role in creating a socially responsible and sustainable economy. Increasingly, investors and lenders are viewing these as important factors in managing their portfolio.
The SDG Investment Forum ASEAN aims to bring together leaders from across business, financial institutions, and investment firms to drive ambitious action on the SDGs by exploring:

The consequences of the pandemic, and how businesses, financial institutions and investors are looking at SDG investments
The role of businesses, financial institutions and investors in facilitating SDG investments across the ASEAN region;
How businesses, financial institutions and investors can deliver on the SDGs;
